Agile World Code of Conduct
Agile World is dedicated to bringing people together from all over the world so everyone has an enjoyable experience, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices.
We do not tolerate any harassment within this show in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate in any program forums, including programs, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. This will result in the immediate removal from any systems and participation.
This is a community program and we expect the participants to adhere to community guidelines. If there is something that does not align with your expectations, please bring it to us before you take it up to Social media. In the spirit of community collaboration, we ask that you bring any conflicts to the attention of the organizers in a way that benefits the health of the community.
Everyone involved in the Agile World is requested to agree with the code of conduct. Hosts and Editors will enforce this code throughout the show. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
If you are being harassed or witness someone else being harassed, please contact us complaints@agile-world.news. You will hear from us within 24 hours.
Hosts and Guests Responsibilities
As you are considering your responses, please consider these guidelines –
Does my response contribute to the overall health of the community?
Does my response respect cultural sensitivity?
Is my response being inclusive?
If you are considering being a guest, ask yourself where you are not in alignment or unwilling to respect diversity in all its human forms (colour, gender, orientation).
Code Details
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
3rd Parties (event organisers where Agile World is attending) are expected to adhere to the Agile World Community Policy in addition to their own community policies. 3rd Parties must not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes or otherwise create a sexualised environment.
If anyone intentionally engages in harassing behaviour, the Agile World team may take any action they deem appropriate. Since this is an international news and current affairs program, we encourage everyone to be mindful of the cultural norms as long as the do not override or seek to supersede this policy.
We are creating a safe experience for everyone bringing people together, expressing fresh voices and learning from each other.
Feel free to contact us and make us aware of any breach of this policy. This community cares for all and promotes safe spaces. We expect participants to follow these rules at all times.
This document is designed as a living document and will be updated as we evolve Agile World and are able to identify additions and refinements to this code.
